- handwriting is oversized for the given space, and the gap between his letters and words varies quite a bit.
- handwriting is often characterized by letter reversals such as ‘b-d’ and ‘p-q’;
- struggles with the application of grammatical norms like the correct use of capital letters and not skipping prepositions; a slower-than-average pace of writing; and difficulties maintaining the linearity of his text.
This pattern of deficits is consistent with a diagnosis of developmental dysgraphia.
